On Thursday, the Princess of Wales stopped in Scarborough and was greeted by a cheering crowd lined up outside the Rainbow Centre, a community organization in the seaside town.

A woman at the meeting paid Kate Middleton what might be the greatest compliment anyone can pay.

When Middleton stopped to shake her hand, she said: “I missed my appointment to come see you.”

“Anyway, it looks wonderful,” replied the princess, making the crowd laugh. He then stopped to take selfies with his fans.

Prince William and Kate were in Scarborough to launch a funding scheme to support young people’s mental health.

The £345,000 funding was created by a partnership between the Royal Foundation of The Prince and Princess of Wales and the Two Ridings Community Foundation, and has been split between local organisations.

“Ensuring young people have access to a wide range of mental health support is something that The Prince and Princess of Wales are very passionate about,” said Amanda Berry, Chief Executive of The Royal Foundation of The Prince and Princess of Wales, in one statement.

“Tackling the stigma around mental health and making sure there is help for those who need it remains one of society’s biggest issues.”

William gave a speech at the Two Riders Community Centre, although he was adorably interrupted by an excited little girl in a moment captured by Greatest Hits Radio Yorkshire Coast who shared it on Twitter.
