Meghan Markle is getting down to business.
The Duchess of Sussex, 41, and Prince Harry, 37, kicked off a busy week of appearances at the One Young World Summit in Manchester yesterday, with the Duchess making a statement with her significant fashion choices.
Wearing a red collar blouse ($540) i matching pants ($590) from sustainable brand Another Tomorrow, Markle took the stage for his first speech in the United Kingdom since stepping down as a senior member of the royal family.
According to the label’s website, it carries out “a value system based on three pillars: human, animal and environmental welfare”, and the Duchess of Sussex’s garments were made from sustainable viscose and ethically sourced merino wool .
The duchess, known for sending a message with her style, added red Aquazzura heels and jewelry from women-founded brands that also focus on ethical practices.

According to the brand, the jewelry was designed to represent the ancient Mesopotamian goddess Inanna and her knot, which is considered a symbol of divine protection and feminism.
Speaking at the event, which brought together young leaders from more than 190 countries, Markle encouraged those in attendance to use their voices to make a difference.
“We often hear people say ‘The time is now,’ but I’m going to double down on that, saying your time is now,” he told the audience, adding: “Important work can’t wait until tomorrow, and this week the world watches as you cement your place in history by showing how well you’re doing today.”
Today, the Sussexes jetted off to Germany to attend the Invictus Games ‘Dusseldorf 2023 – One Year to Go’ event, with the Duchess wearing a white sleeveless jumper from Annie Bing ($229) and brown belt, wide legs Brandon Maxwell pants ($1,295).
Sources have said that the couple will not make any visits to the royal family this week, despite staying at their Frogmore Cottage home, which is just a short walk from the Cambridges’ new base in Windsor.
Even if there won’t be any royal encounters to look forward to, there’s more Meghan fashion ahead as the Sussexes attend the annual Well Child Awards in London on Thursday night.
