Father’s Day is just around the corner and our one of our favorite characters is ready to celebrate the father in his life. Peppa Pig loves her daddy, Daddy Pig, with all my heart — even if she’s short on him and doesn’t understand all his silly jokes. And he’s come to help celebrate Father’s Day with a brand new song and we’ve got an exclusive first listen.
Just in time for the big day in honor of parents, Peppa Pig has released a new single from her third musical album, “Peppa’s Club: The Album”. The song is an ode to his father, the clumsy father who has the same sense of imagination and fun as his children, and is also an expert puddle jumper.
The new song is called “World’s Best Dad” and it’s a sweet love letter to dads and father figures around the world. Of course, the song features Peppa’s typical sassy and cheerful personality front and center.
“Every day, when I wait to play Daddy Pig, he’s there for me. Sharing breakfast, and when it’s over, we get up and brush our teeth,” sings Peppa in the first verse. “He helps us dress- let’s clean up our mess before it’s time for school and we leave.”
The song is set to a video that highlights all the fun things Daddy Pig does with Peppa and her little brother George. “We love playing with dad, he’s a superhero runner, we ride bikes or do ballet and sometimes he’s the drummer.” peppa sing
The new song will be released in November, when the full album is ready. Before that, two more singles are scheduled to be released in July, another in September and one in October just before the full release. But because it’s a long wait, there’s also Peppa’s 6-song EP, out on July 15th.
