Actress and podcast host Rachel Bilson has announced the launch of her new podcast, Broad Ideas, now available on all major podcast platforms. In Broad Ideas, Rachel joins longtime best friend Olivia Allen to talk about sex, mental health, her belief (or lack of) in ghosts, and more.
They’ll be joined by old friends, young friends, and some friends who haven’t met yet for casual, fun conversations about the same kinds of broad topics you’d find yourself talking about with your girlfriends. Actress and longtime friend Kristen Bell joins them as the first guest for the premiere episode, which is available now. Upcoming guests include Mandy Moore, Aubrey Plaza, Zooey Deschanel, Gina Rodriguez, Kristen Kish, Bobby Berk and many more.
“We wanted to create a safe space where nothing is off-limits, an open and honest conversation about things you’d normally only share with your best friend. From taboo subjects to bedroom secrets, we’re just a couple of grown-ups with big ideas.” he said. Bilson. “Life is a lot. Anything we can do to help people laugh and cry through it. That’s what WE’RE HERE for. We provide a space to be real. No filters or covers. We believe authenticity is comfort that people want.” Allen said.
Broad Ideas is produced by Rob Holysz, who also produces Dax Shepard’s Armchair Expert and Anna Faris is Unqualified. “I’m so excited that Rachel will have a space where everyone can see what a wonderful human she is: she shows so much love and empathy for others, has such strange and valuable ideas, and looks at things through a lens of humor. The world she needs more Rachels and I’m glad she finally has a platform for people to come and meet that side of her,” said Holysz.
Broad Ideas follows the wildly popular Welcome to the OC, Bitches de Bilson! podcast, which he co-hosts with his friend and co-star Melinda Clarke.
